Call for Papers

A first type of submission we solicit are academic papers that explore the agents, characteristics and roles of tacit knowledge. We are interested in contributions that explore case studies that help us to understand how, and by whom, communities of tacit knowledge are constructed, as well as the myriad types of tacit knowledge that are at stake in architecture culture, and the role that tacit knowledge plays in the conception, design, construction and appropriation of architecture.

Abstracts of 1200 characters for 20-minute paper presentations, along with a short bio (300 characters) should be submitted by 23 October 2022 via the form below. In the abstract submission, you will be invited to clarify whether your contribution will focus predominantly on the NATURE(S) of tacit knowledge, or on the VECTORS by which tacit knowledge is transmitted, or on the ACTORS that exchange tacit knowledge.
