Transmitting Tacit Knowledge

This PhD project will explore how tacit knowledge operates in architectural teaching and learning. Through observation, interviews with both staff and students, a literature study about the history of architectural education, the PhD candidate working on this project will investigate which methods and which tools are employed to transmit tacit knowledge in architectural pedagogy.

 

The PhD candidate working on this PhD project will be located at, and draw on the expertise of the Institute for the History and Theory of Architecture at ETH Zürich.
